MAY 22nd, 2008- Tornado Touches Down In Windsor, Colorado

WELD COUNTY - Seven days after a deadly tornado ripped through northern Colorado, the town hit the hardest continues to look ahead and rebuild.

On May 22 at 11:57 a.m. a tornado touched down in Windsor taking with it homes, businesses, cars and trees. The Windsor touchdown was one of at least six in Colorado and a man in Greeley lost his life.

One week after the storm, neighbors in Windsor continue to come together to rebuild the tightly-knit community.

The Cornerstone Baptist Church held a prayer service at the exact time of the tornado touchdown to help community members with the emotional recovery process.

Town residents and local and state officials have been working together with federal officials to make significant repairs.

Within a day of the tornado most streets were cleared of debris. On Monday, the town held its traditional Memorial Day service. Wednesday, the Windmill Daycare, where more than 100 students and teacher survived the storm, reopened at a temporary location.

CRS LAX, LLC has opportunity to Give Back in Conjunction with FRS

MAY 23^rd, 2008- CRS LAX, LLC and FRS rented a 16ft truck to haul over 3,000 cans of FRS directly to Windsor, Colorado. FRS, notoriously knows for its health benefits and providing for sustained energy (www.frs.com), was delivered to the American Red Cross stationed in Windsor in efforts to give a little back to our fellow Coloradans in a time of need. FRS had currently been looking to move some of their inventory with a couple large donations. It couldn’t have been better timing- trucks were loaded and we were off to Windsor. Windsor Shores was a long time weekend get aways for the Olson Family growing up, so we felt passionate about taking advantage of an opportunity to donate to the community. With the many long days, weeks, and months ahead plenty of energy will be needed, and the many cans of mobile energy and nutrition, FRS, should come in handy.
